Core Overview (Industrial Applications and Characteristics)

Basic Characteristics: At room temperature, it is a colorless to pale yellow transparent viscous liquid, free of mechanical impurities; acid value 395~435 mg KOH/g, flash point ≥180℃, density approximately 1.005~1.03 g/cm³ (25℃), kinematic viscosity at 40℃ 300~500 mm²/s; readily soluble in hydrocarbons and esters, insoluble in water and alcohols, with good thermal stability (stable below 200℃).

Core Applications

Epoxy Resin Curing Agent: Low-temperature curing, low viscosity, long pot life; after curing, it improves resin toughness and reduces water absorption; used in electronic packaging, adhesives, and composite materials.

Rust Inhibitor / Metalworking Fluid: Reacts with metal surfaces to form a dense protective film; suitable for copper, steel, aluminum, etc.; used in rust-preventive oils, cutting fluids, and rolling oils.

Lubricating Oil / Fuel Additive: As a detergent-dispersant intermediate, it inhibits sludge formation, improves low-temperature fluidity, and also has slight anti-wear properties. 

Other uses: 

Used in surfactant synthesis, paper sizing agents, and emulsion explosive stabilizers.

Trade and Storage: 

Not a hazardous material. Standard packaging is 200 kg/iron drum or 1000 kg/IBC tonne drum. Store in a sealed container at room temperature (5~35℃). Shelf life is over 12 months. Avoid high temperatures and contact with moisture.
